'Cutting a Longbow' is a spoken word piece performed by Chris T-T during the final two years of his music career. It was written in October 2015, for the 60th anniversary of the first public reading of Allen Ginsberg’s ‘Howl’.

Simon Warner and Roger Bygott invited Chris to Manchester to sing at Still Howling, their celebration of 'Howl' at The Wonder Inn. Chris wrote the first draft of ‘Cutting a Longbow’ for that event.

It was released on 9 Green Songs (Xtra Mile Recordings), Chris T-T's tenth and final album. In autumn 2017 Chris gave up his singing career, so he won’t be performing it again.
